On 14 November 1839, he married 玛丽维avis Guild, with whom he had five children: Mary Louisa Everett 孩子 (1841-1920), Franklin David 孩子 (1842-1905), George Frederick 孩子 (1844-1933), Samuel Guild 孩子 (1849-1895), and 索菲亚·查尔德(1853-1918). 玛丽维. 孩子死于1861年.
