This is the sworn testimony of Anna Bill regarding the sale of Captain John Sale's "right and title" to two boys, to Nathaniel Brown. This document is "a true copy," or an official copy of the original. The following year, Captain Sale sold two free black people as slaves to John Oliver, who sued him for recompense, but lost the case.
